Can't reproduce with current trunk. There was a segfault before in stringpool_str2id (from calling strlen on NULL), but that was fixed by ma some time ago. Are you sure you had current src/stringpool.c ? (I'm commenting this in again, if you still experience segfault, please tell me where I can take a look).
