I name my ISOS something like *-zzz-HuHa*.iso so they are sorted AFTER the official ones, so my custom-built ISO has preference for testing. When I want to switch back to the official Beta or RC ISOs, I simply move my custom-built ISOs out of the way (to a subdirectory); that's also why find_iso() does not descend into any subdirectories. But if you don't need or want all that, feel free to use a HTTP URL. Since my bash scripts around QEMU / libvirt/ virt-install tended to multiply with copy & paste, I decided to make a Ruby class to do the heavy lifting and leave only some config stuff in the individual scripts. Maybe this is useful for one or to of you out there, too.
