[opensuse-wiki] pages that need work
Hello everyone, I have been perusing the pages on the wiki that need work, and I have just a few questions before I get started: 1. What needs to be done with obsolete pages that cannot be updated? aMSN would be an example of this, the new version of the software is not available for OpenSUSE 11. and... 2. Is there a place where I should start? I am not sure if there is some sort of progress or order to the way pages are cleaned up. I didn't want to mess something up on my first contribution. ;-) Thanks! It is the best to mark them that way and leave alone, for now. We still don't have proper handling of old versions and obsolete stuff. There is quite a few obsolete and incomplete articles that are very important, like Nvidia and ATI, wireless stuff, and probably more. For now, I would leave SDB namespace alone, as it is seldom updated, there is only few contributors, and while there are some very good and good maintained articles, like our(openSUSE) printing expert article about CUPS, in general it is collection of old stuff, that was once important, and very useful, but time did what time does to software and software documentation, it made it obsolete.
and...

The center of our activity is http://en.opensuse.org/Wiki_Team where we link as much as possible pages about our activity. One page that collects current actions is http://en.opensuse.org/Wiki_Team/Current_Actions
