Any (free)Radius+MySQL experts hanging out on this list?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've got a couple of questions regarding the items put into the radiusd.conf file, and (unfortunately) the docs are a little lacking on the options -- if your needs don't fit the example, well, it isn't much help... :( some things I want to do but don't see an obvious solution: 1) limit access to "once per day" for a particular combination of user ID and MAC address. Essentially I have a "promo" ID that allows for 15 minutes of use. I want anyone to be able to use it, but only once per "business" day, so I figured I'd key on the MAC address [calling-station-id] and count logon attempts, but my efforts so far have been unsuccessful 2) limit all other access to "single session". the docs talk about Simultaneous-Use, but the AP I have isn't listed in the "checkrad" script [though it does to SNMP] if I use "other", will checkrad only use radutmp [or the radacct table in mysql?] 3) using the rad[group]check tables in MySQL vs. hard coding in the radiusd.conf file -- are there limits on what can be put into the "check" tables? Are there things that MUST be in the .conf file instead? - -- Yet another Blog: http://osnut.homelinux.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) Comment: http://osnut.homelinux.net/TomEmerson.asc iD8DBQE+xQnAV/YHUqq2SwsRArBVAJ9Qm47/Ra7tCx9pS7L6kLtq6nPW8wCbB4S8 puCZqisILQ+GaRPbQjpPAQ0= =u3KF -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
