[opensuse] Next Evergreen version
Hi all, Do we know which will be the next Evergreen (LTS) openSUSE version? 12.2 or 12.3? I want to install 12.2 on a laptop with a legacy Radeon card, and since 12.2 works with the proprietary AMD Catalyst Legacy driver ( http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/linux/legacy/Pages/legacy-radeon_linux...), if 12.2 becomes the next Evergreen version, it will be good news to me. But I can't install 12.2 as long term, if I do not know it. Definitely not 12.2. There is discussion of 12.3 vs 13.1 Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Bizarre question. I gather you have no idea what evergreen is. It is extended support that starts after the 18-month support runs out. 11.4 is the "official" evergreen package at the moment. Basically the opposite of tumbleweed, so no it is not an option. Greg

worth considering for what: for the next Evergreen? no. (Tumbleweed is 12.3 plus some factory) instead of Evergreen? no. (not in any way a replacement for it) dd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
