I am working on a Friends linux box that we are setting up for ham radio using the Internet Radio Relay Project Dev and software "http://www.irlp.net. The system is using cdsl and a Nortel modem, and PPPOE (yuk). And I am using RoaringPenguins client and not the one that came with SuSE. That seems to be working ok. Oh also running the DHCP client. When I boot Linux I get the following error just before we login in.... Why are you using the DHCP client and pppoe? It might be conflicting.
