I was trying to recompile kopete, as the new version fixes the msn issue when I found out that the following file, refered to by /usr/lib/suse_macros is missing: suse_update_desktop_file.sh Anybody know where to find it?

According to pin, it is in update-desktop-files-0.0-53.noarch.rpm in 9.0 -Kastus

In SUSE 9.0, it is pin-0.29-12

IT was apparenlty part of the default install in 8.2 , tho you may have to copy the ARCHIVES.gz file ( on cd1 of your installation disks) to the /var/lib/pin/ location to make it happy <G>

Err, no! First, it's been in SuSE a lot earlier than 8.2 and, secondly, you don't have to copy anything yourself to make it work. pin will do that for you. -- Vic Ayres
