Yes, but that will only make .wav's from the tracks. You would also want to encode and name it according to freedb.
I like Konqueror for making WAV, MP3 & OGG Files. Just configure encoding settings in the control panel then type audiocd:/ in the location bar. You can then do whatever you like with the files. The only problem is that the ripping & encoding is all done in one process, so the cd drive will be busy for a while.

or you can try KAudioCreator, does not include the mp3 encoder, but if you also have lame or similar it will use it. David
