Can't get traydock to configure in amsn...need help.
I'm trying to get the traydock setup for amsn. I followed the instructions to include the path for my tcl files, but when I run ./configure, I get an error saying tclConfig.sh not found. It's not included in my tcl install but is included on my itcl install...its just called itclConfig.sh instead. tom@linux:~/msn/plugins/traydock> ./configure --with-tcl=/usr/lib/tcl8.4 checking for Tcl configuration... configure: error: /usr/lib/tcl8.4 directory doesn't contain tclConfig.sh Am I missing something? I'm using 9.0. Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com

Do'h! I forgot to install the devel packages. I think I have it working now. Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com

Well I still can't get it working. This is what I get when I try ./configure. I have imlib-config 1.9 installed. I looked at the imlib-config file and I don't see where I should make a change. checking for imlib-config... /opt/gnome/bin/imlib-config checking for IMLIB - version >= 1.8.2... no *** Could not run IMLIB test program, checking why... *** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the *** exact error that occured. This usually means IMLIB was incorrectly installed *** or that you have moved IMLIB since it was installed. In the latter case, you *** may want to edit the imlib-config script: /opt/gnome/bin/imlib-config ERROR: Needs a system with Imlib 1.8.2 or higher You can obtain it from: blah, blah, blah.... Any thoughts? -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com

Look at the file config.log in the directory where you're compiling. It will tell you the real reason it thinks imlib isn't there. Sometimes it's because some (almost) completely unrelated package is missing

Can't figure it out. I'm looking at it, but nothing stands out. Mind if I send you the log? I'd post it but it's quite long. Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com
