[opensuse] cannot mount volume hal-storage-mount-removable-no
I just reinstalled 10.3 yesterday and everything was working fine. Updated a few packages, restarted, popped in the 10.3 install disc and now I get this dialog box: Cannot mount volume. Error org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.PermissionDeniedByPolicy. Details hal-storage-mount-removable-no <-- (action, result) Any ideas on what this is all about and how to fix it? Thanks, --Shawn -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I looked through the bugs mailing list for a few ideas. 8 results for Error org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.PermissionDeniedByPolicy http://tinyurl.com/6buyj9 Are DBUS, HAL, PolicyKit, and ConsoleKit up to date? How did you log into kde? kdm3? kdm4? xdm? gdm? textconsole?
