Hi everyone Is there any way I can get a screensaver to load after a certain length of time under Xfce? I have xscreensaver up and running but only manually. Thanks, Steve.

Put something like this in your ~/.Xsession or ~/.xinitrc: sleep 600 && exec xscreensaver [options] & -- -=|JP|=- Need a good geek? I'm unemployed! In the version of XFCE provided w/ SuSE 7.3 (XFCE 3.8.5), open the second panelbar menu from the right. At the bottom should be a selection called 'Screensaver options'. IIRC, you need to *unselect* all the screensavers you don' want to use, otherwise it cycles thru the selected ones. Play w/ the settings there and hopefully it should work for you, both on auto-timeout, or when you select the little padlock on the panel bar to lock the screen.
