Has anyone found a way to get a pocket pc to sync with linux? It's using the USB port but if I can get it to sync with a serial connection I'll get the correct cable. Even if I can't get it to sync is there anyway to mount it just so I copy files from it? Thanks Jeff Filapose This Email was sent using Evolution from a linux box. THINK LINUX
If you want to copy files to and from your pocketpc, you could always use a flash medium to do it. For example, my Compaq iPAQ can have Secure Digital MultiMedia Cards put in it for extra storage. I put MP3's and such on this card. If you buy a SD card reader, you can mount the SD card under linux and then copy the files to that. Some PDA's use Compact flash too. Just make sure the reader you buy can be run under linux. I have the Memorex multitype reader, and it works like a charm. On Saturday 26 April 2003 05:16 pm, Jeff Filapose wrote:
