Hey Group; Using Yast update on SuSE 10 there is Foxfire. Which seems to work except now I get something like a "beaglePageLoad: beagleWriteContent failed" exception" error message. So, I downloaded the real version of Foxfire 1.0.7 and it also has the same "beagle" related problem. This is a problem with Firefox and KDE. It doesn't showup on another Window Manager ( fvwm2 ). So it would seems KDE related. What is "beagle"? It seems to be a chrome java.js file 73 de Donn Washburn Hpage:" http://www.hal-pc.org/~n5xwb " Ham Callsign N5XWB Email: " n5xwb@hal-pc.org " 307 Savoy St. HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador LL# 1.281.242.3256 " http://counter.li.org " #279316
Fixed it! I needed to completely remove old /opt/MozillaFirefox. Then reinstall firefox. Apartently, SuSE update didn't remove the total content of /opt/MozillaFirefox which contained the file causing the error. After a source Firefox 1.0.7 - firefox 1.0.7 is working correctly in KDE.
