KDE will run any shell script or program that you put in your $HOME/.kde/Autostart directory when it starts. You can also create a $HOME/.kde/shutdown directory and put scripts or programs in there, and they will be run when you quit KDE. -Ti -- Ti Kan

Normally, you'd place the file in ~/.kde/Autostart. But I don't know if it will start when you want.

As a cron job, or as a service (look at /etc/init.d/skeleton). Depends on your exact needs... - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFDTbMhtTMYHG2NR9URAmPWAJ9O463tj3Lsyr5px6UouvRLpuOeygCgg2kI OuYsaIew4jPkybJ4PDxh9ec= =8ExV -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
