update from 7.0 pro to 8.1
I just installed 7.0 pro. I would like to upgard to 8.1. but can someone tell me how to go about doing that??? I just started playing around with SuSe... Thanks for you time and help Matt
Does any know how to see login info for user accounts.......... Info need are time of logon, place/machine name, date, and number of logon times.... Since you "just installed" 7.0 why not do a fresh install of 8.1. As I understand going from 7.0 to 8.1 is not cleanly possible due to file location changes between the versions Ken. On Thu, 2003-02-06 at 14:16, Matt wrote:

I think you have to backup anything important and do a fresh install of version 8.1 I recall seeing that to do upgrades suse only works in chronological order, you can't jump between versions. hope this helps, Oskar
