Pressing "Scroll lock" on key board (many thanks to group for the tip) I was able to write down "devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw)" is it much of a problem to fix, so red "failed" message no longer appears this is coming from Internet Explorer 5.5 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

Check /var/log/messages to see if it gives any further details about /dev/pts. Otherwise, if you are using a self-compiled kernel, recompile the kernel to include include /dev/pts support in your kernel. You can find this option in 'Filesystems->/dev/pts filesystem for Unix98 PTYs'.
