Dear All, When my modem dialed, my PC can't receive NFS directory from NFS Server. The message is : Stale NFS file handle. But when I'd disconnect my modem my PC can receive again from NFS Server. Was your modem dialed up to a PPP connection? Probably the dialup DHCP negotiations caused your machine's DNS and default router configuration to change, causing it to be unable to connect to your NFS server. When your modem disconnected, the DNS and default route are restored and then you could once again access the NFS shares. -Ti -- Ti Kan http://www.amb.org/ti Vorsprung durch Technik
