Some ??'s - what are the terms under which you can redistribute SuSe 9.2 Pro ? Is it fully GPL'ed or are there any restrictions ? - I know that this has been discussed before but I was unable to find anything on the suSe mailing lists from the SuSe website so my 2nd question is How do I search the SuSe mailing list archives ? Perhaps we should have the list admin compile a list of commonly asked questions to have emailed to all list members every month. This is one that seems to come up two-three times a month. The answer IS on the web site with a little searching. You can re-distribute SuSE linux pro 9.X as long as you don't sell it for a profit (you can recoup reproduction costs). You can install your purchased copy on as many PC's as you want, even 1,000,000 if you want to. Also since this comes up a couple times every month: lppasswd -a <user> (supply a password twice) to add a cups admin user. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge
