Retail-Packages arrived?!
Hi all, did i miss something? In the german SuSE-Mailinglist are the first questions asked by people, who already got their retail-packages of SuSE 10.0 yesterday. Why do we have still an openSuSE 10.0 _RC1_ and no Release anywhere in the net? Or where are the announcement, that the beta is over, because 'its done' (For me it is not statement enough to start with an 10.1 alpha)? Or are the first retail-packages still beta? confused, Jens

So the people did get their 10.0 retail packages? I thought that was also on the 6th. houghi -- Quote correct (NL) http://www.briachons.org/art/quote/ Zitiere richtig (DE) http://www.afaik.de/usenet/faq/zitieren Quote correctly (EN) http://www.netmeister.org/news/learn2quote.html

Please read my announcement on opensuse-announce with the roadmap. The first boxes were supposed to arrive on the 4th of October and so we made the following thursday the release date to stick with the thursday tradition. Seems that production delivered the first boxes for a few vendors earlier in Europe than planned - and it might be that the US ones come later than planned :-( Btw I still need to master two DVDs on the 4th :-(. A roadmap is (for me) a summary of more or less flexible dates and not a bible. So i'm missing an actual statement in the List or at the opensuse-website like "Release-CD's are mastered, any new bugfixes or other changes are going into YOU or 10.1 from now on". regards, Jens
