Hi Using SuSE 9.1, I have trouble using kmenuedit: I add an entry (item), save all, and then start via the k-menu. The entry appears correctly. Then I try to edit it again via kmenuedit: The entry has disappeared. I have always made an update via YOU of the kdelibs3, but that doesn't change anything. I googled around, but no real answer. So I ask here: Where are these menuentries stored, how can I fix this problem or how to go around? Thanx Al
I corrected that problem, by installing an updated version of KDE. Alex wrote:

Sorry about the repeats. Whenever I tried to send, I got an error from the mail server, even though the message was sent.
Do you get any error messages when you start KMail from a terminal? Cheers, Leen

I was using Mozilla, and got a "disk full" error, from my ISP's SMTP server. That problem cleared later. It wasn't a Linux or Mozilla problem. My ISP switched to Yahoo for mail last month and there's been a few problems since then. One real "fun" problem, that has not been resolved, is occasional duplicate messages. One message will get stuck and I can't receive any messages behind it. Every time I get mail, I get the message list, the message downloads and then my system sees a problem and sends a reset. Until I use webmail or telnet, to manually remove that message from the POP server, my mail will be stuck repeating that one message and not receiving any others. I have even sent them ethereal captures, showing that problem occuring, but so far, they haven't been able to fix the problem. Also, for the first couple of days, all messages would repeat, so when I got up those days, I found over 2000 messages in my inbox, with 20 or 30 duplicates (or more) of every message sent to me. Lots of fun with Yahoo mail. :-(

I also noticed the disappearing edited menu items. One thing that I did notice is that when I installed RealPlayer10Gold in RPM format, the install updated the menu, and I now see the missing items appearing in it. Mike
