[opensuse] [11.0] chromium-browser
I found this in repositories/home:/dbuck with software search and installed with one click. One click also added repositories/devel:/languages:/haskel, and maybe repositories/Java:/openjdk6:/Factory/openSUSE_11.0. It doesn't run. Instead I see this console output: (chrome:6293): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library. Using the fallback 'C' locale. /usr/lib/chromium-browser/chrome: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/chromium-browser/chrome: undefined symbol: cairo_format_stride_for_width [6304:6305:25297556089:ERROR:ipc/ipc_channel_posix.cc(451)] pipe error (7): Connection reset by peer Anyone know how to make it work? -- " We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion." Just Add Google's official repository: Command line: zypper ar -t YUM http://dl.google.com/linux/rpm/stable/i386 google or zypper ar -t YUM http://dl.google.com/linux/rpm/stable/x86_64 google Then go into yast software management and select repositories tab and navigate to google repo. -- A computer without Microsoft is like a chocolate cake without mustard. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks, but it still doesn't work: :-( (chrome:9290): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library. Standard 2.16.3-20.6, but I see two repositories/home with newer, 2.20.4-2.1 (hujq) & 2.21.4-2.1 (gryffus). What's the risk associated with installing either of those OBS versions? -- " We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion." Well if it is a repository you trust, try it. You can always back it out. Worst case is Yast will detect a bazillion dependencies. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
