I just worked through this. Grip is a program that is included in the 7.1 dist. It provides a GUI to rip and encode. I downloaded the latest edition of grip and bladeenc and installed. After running grip the first time, I have used it exclusively since. BTW, grip uses paranoia as its ripper, but it also is on the 7.1 dist.
