Setup Compaq DLT on SuSE Sever on Compaq Array
Hi all, I need to use a Compaq DLT 40/80 Backup Drive on Suse 6.4 Server with Raid Smart Array. The Smart Array is in use wiht 3 physical Disk for 1 logicl volume. It's running perfect. The DLT Drive is plugged on external scsi port and is detected by the bios, but not by linux kernel. Any help is welcome. Yvon
Which model Compaq server are you using? If it is an EISA bus model, then the onboard SCSI controller has no Linux driver - you would have to install a linux recognised SCSI card and connect the DLT to that. Tony At 22:42 04/09/2001 +0200, Yvon VODOUNON wrote:
