Hi all, I know this has been covered before, but I'm having trouble getting SSL to work within Konquerer since I upgraded to the newest KDE 2.2 packages on ftp.suse.com (it used to work fine with the KDE 2.1.x packages). It is my understanding that early versions of these packages didn't have SSL support, but that new ones do. The new packages don't work for me either, however. I'm using KDE-2.2: dgies@yahweh:~ > rpm -q -a | grep kdebase-2.2 kdebase-2.2.0-29 OpenSSL 0.9.6: dgies@yahweh:~ > rpm -q -a | grep openssl openssl-0.9.6-16 And SuSE 7.0. One possible problem is that kdebase.rpm does not seem to recognize the OpenSSL package, so I have to install using the --nodeps option. kdelibs.rpm does recognize the OpenSSL package. Can anyone help me? Perhaps I am not installing all the right packages since they have been updated. Do I need more than kdebase and kdelibs.rpm? Should I install a SuSE 7.2 OpenSSL package (if that's even possible; I suspect it is not)? Thanks in advance! Dennis
