Hello, OK, I thought I followed everyone's advice, but all I get is a blue screen after the KDE2 startup splash. It says KDE2 is running, but no desktop. I have tried startx kde2 from a text login and this didn't work. I installed all the rpm's with a shell script as I did with 1.94. All the packages appear without problems in kpackage. Is there a difference between doing it this way or using Yast? I don't see why. Please advise. This might be worth giving a shot. Try re-running Sax to see if that helps at all.....Are you running Xfree86 3 or 4? Matthew On Wednesday 25 October 2000 19:20, Thomas Bishop wrote:
