Sorry to have bothered the list. I solved the problem myself and all is well

Unfortunately, I had a system crash.
I restarted linux in the same mode and got a boot message:
O0o.oops(): [gpm.c(937))]: Could not open /dev/mouse.
/dev/mouse is apparently missing as a result of the crash. How do I get it back?
Everything seems to be working, with the exception of the mouse.
Thanks in advance for help.

Hey, at least let us know what you did to fix it! The list is a great archive of doumentation, but only if the resolutions to issues are posted as well as the issues themselves. -- John LeMay KC2KTH Senior Enterprise Consultant NJMC | http://www.njmc.com | Phone 732-557-4848 Specializing in Microsoft and Unix based solutions
