It means locking all the KDE components on the
desktop, right?
That was also what I meant, so how can I lock
everything of KDE, so the users can only see the
mozilla icon which I made on the desktop?

Prabu, I don't think he's saying you don't need Xwindows - you will need it to run a graphical browser. He's just saying you don't need the KDE desktop, etc.

So how can I lock everything in KDE 3.0.x ? I want after the user login, the mozilla will
be
automatically launched. I also want if they close the mozilla than the
user
will be automatically kicked out (log out).
http://dot.kde.org In one of the 1st articles
kde-kiosk is mentioned.
The explanation there is the best that is available
at the moment.
Just a thought.. But why use KDE at all at that point? Just have the user login, and exec mozilla from a xinitrc file or something.. No need to run all the kde "stuff" if all you need is a browser...
Take care- Jim

Tell me, more details....

This article goes into the kiosk capabilities of KDE in more detail: http://www.linux-mag.com/cgi-bin/printer.pl?issue=2002-11&article=kde I'm not sure if it is what you want, but it is the only description I have seen so far of this very useful functionality. I hasten to add that I haven't tried it! HTH Kevin
Thank you very much my friend.
I used fvwm2 for kiosk. It is perfect and far easier.
In week-end I will read the articel carefully.
Thanks.
