Don't mean for this to sound cruel Mitja, but the thing hardly works for anything! I think most things list it as a door stop or boat anchor. If you get it working, good job, but don't expect too much from it. Lee -- --- KMail v1.6.1 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...

There's a driver from lexmark, that's usable for Linux. But it's a standalone software, that's not usable with cups. Should've gotten a z600 series, since they do have a cups driver, even though it's a bit of a hassle to setup.

And they are mandatory for proper operation. Download the drivers, follow the directions and the printer works like a charm in 9.0. The url is on the box. -- In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me -- and by that time no one was left to speak up. -- Pastor Martin Niemoller
