setting up 2 servers with a SAN for high availability
I've recently acquired two Compaq servers and a Compaq Storageworks array. I'm fairly familiar with both, except that this uses fibre channel and 2 fibre switches etc. The previous owner had the whole thing running Windows, but I'll (obviously) want to run Linux on it. I've got access to the array using multipathing, but it's not quite there yet. I'm looking for anyone who's had some experience in working with fibrechannel and SAN under Linux - someone who could point me in the right direction wrt software etc. /Per Jessen, Zürich

Thanks for the links - I should have mentioned that the FC adapters are Emulex LP7000s, and I've got the drivers working etc. What I'm left with is configuration of the SAN (switches and array) and the software on the server side. One thing that was mentioned to me was Sistinas/Redhats GFS. /Per Jessen, Zürich

I believe that Linux is a supported OS for your configuration. http://tinyurl.com/d5w3l
