Hi people, Anyone knows how can I export my emails from Mozilla-mail ? I want something like Outlook does, select a date range and then export only messages from that range. If there is no option like that, anyone knows a mail client that does it? []s Bruce "Sinner"

What format do you want to export it to? Cheers, HÖ -- /// Helgi Örn Helgason, Registered Linux User: #189958 \\\ \\\ ~~~~ SuSE 8.2 * Kernel 2.4.20-4GB * KDE 3.1.4 ~~~~ ///

Select the first email by right clicking on it. Extend it by holding shift, and clicking on the last email. Add single emails by holding the ctrl key, and right click on single emails to be added. Then click, hold and drag the mouse to where ever folder you want to move to; if you want to add, first press the ctrl key. This is the same as in windoze ;-) If you want to select by some rule (like date), I prefer to use Pine. But in mozilla you can sort by date, and then select the range manually, which is also easy. Or, you can go to "Tools/search messages", select the search criteria; for example, "Age in days" "is less than" "5" and click Search - or you can add more criteria. The bottom window fills with the headers of the matching emails, and some buttons: Open, File (ie, save or move to), Open Message folder. Click and drag doesn't work here. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
