What is the proper etiquette for uploading after you have downloaded? I have been seeding since Friday the EVALDVD.iso from a computer I do not use that often and can leave on for a few more days. I am trying to give back to Suse as much as I can. I did purchase the boxed set but haven't received it yet.
If you can do a 1-to-1 ratio, which is to say seed until you've uploaded the size of the file, that's generally considered "polite". If you can leave the machine on and upload more than that, go for it :-) There is a certain amount of leeching that's always going to happen with a peer-to-peer network like BitTorrents. That's why your machine starts uploading as soon as it has one full chunk.
