Lee, thanks for the reply. 1) I did get boost from the SuSE DVDs and now the dependecy errors for Xine are gone. The messages about NO KEY are still there, however. Does that matter? Should I just ignore. 2) I could not find updates for qt3 and kdelibs3 on the SuSE mirrors (YAST On-Line Update). All of the sites seem to have V 3.3.1 and I need 3.3.2 for the newest Kaffeine. Can you suggest another mirror site where I might find the V 3.3.2 files for qt3 and kdelibs3? Thanks! Gil

Gil, You can disregard the signature errors, those are not problems you need to be concerned about. ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/ That's the mirror I use to download all my KDE files for updating. YOU or YAST On-Line Update is not going to help you get these. You will need to either download them manually and install/update them or use one of the nice facilities available to do that automatically, like Red Carpet or apt. My suggestion would be for you to download and install using the shell and rpm command. If that doesn't seem like your cup of tea though, then check out one of the two things I mentioned. But, decide on one to use, don't mix and match them, else you could find yourself in trouble. YaST *will* help you get those kde update rpm's from the mirror you specified. In YaST, click software, then click "Change source of installation" Then click "Add" and choose "FTP" Put ftp.gwdg.de as the server name. Put: pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/yast-source/ as the path. Then hit OK. Then close out of that. Then go into "Install and Remove Software" In the drop down for the filter, choose "Selections" Right click the left side (doesn't matter what specific selection), then choose: "All in this list" -> "Update if newer available" and yast will update every component with an available update automatically and warn you of any new dependency issues with them (like certain obsoleted packages).
