When trying to install openSSL using ./install.com I keep getting a "Permission Denied error". I'm in root but still get the error. I'm trying to intall ProFPTD but I have to have libssl and libcryptossl and they are in the openSSL package. Make sure you have execute premissions turned on.

I am really confused at this point. I seem to have done everything correctly. Any Ideas.
You are calling a script (or whatever it is) for a non-UNIX platform. OpenSSL is normally installed by calling "make install". Peter
HELP! I can't get the drivers for this card to work, is there a tag at the end I can use? I followed all the established instructions for the card, sax2 -m 0=nvidia etc, and just get crazy screen when sax2 starts. Tried several older drivers without success. Is anyone else using this card with success? What's the secret.... AMD-64, SuSE 9.2, latest Yast Kernal Update, 1 Gig RAM, I bought the card at WalMart for $125 US... maybe it is too good to be true. Works great in M$, bastards! Thanks in advance.

Don't understand 'tag' ???

two options, read the specs from the windoz install disk provided with the card and edit /etc/X11/XF86Config (or whatever 9.2 and XOrg use) to correct the horiz and vert sync rates, or run sax2 with the -l parameter added (obtained from TFM, man sax2) which still may not work if the vert and horiz sync rates are out of the monitor's range. sax2 -l -m 0=nvidia

No, it *is* a *good* card.

Really not interested in whether *anything* works (relative term) in microsquat environments. gud luk, -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos
sax2 -l -m 0=nvidia is the trick... the l is the letter 'L' not a '1' number
one. You are the man Patrick... the tag refered to exactley what you gave
me... pipe, extention, etc. whatever, it worked. I like the vid card, paid
low dollar for something that looked pretty good. Turns out it is. After
getting it working in Linux, turns out it is functioning better here than in
M$. LOL. Just some minor Noobie education and all is yet again better.
PS, I do care about microsquat functioning... without it Linux wouldn't be
the best it could be. Pressure never hurt any sort of progress.
:) Thanks again, hope this helps someone else.
Prayers for the Tsunami victims. (/\)!
