No, it doesn't crash mine. (SuSE 7.3, mozilla-1.0rc2-0.i386.rpm, BuildID:2002051114-SuSE). But, as you gave so little info about what you are running, we could be comparing apples and oranges. -- Vic Ayres www.buckiechoral.org.uk
I have SuSE Linux 7.1 and I use the box to maqurade all my workstations on the inside network out to the internet. I have a place where I can use a webfilter and would like to just re-direct all the port 80 traffic going out through this filter. Is it possible to do this in the config of the firewall? for example, my internal network is 192.168.0.x and my ip to the internet is 1.1.1.1 and the ip to the web filter is 2.2.2.2 port 3128 and the 2.2.2.2 is a real ip on the internet. I thought this command would work FWD_TCP = "192.168.0.0/24,2.2.2.2,80,3128" Im not sure of the exact command on the left but its where in the configuration it says to use this to redirect people through your squid proxy. My real question I guess is this: does this still work if the squid proxy or filter is outside your internal network? and if so how do I do it? thanks for your time and help... Mike.

Hi All & Nick, site works great with Netscape 6.2.3 also :-) Greek GeeK :-) If it happens once, it's a bug. If it happens twice, it's a feature. If it happens more than twice, it's a design philosophy. Haralambos wrote:

It worked fine for me. Olle -- MicroSoft Network may not carry this message without license to do so. License to carry this message requires a fee of $1000, payable within 30 days to Olle Viksten. Appearance of this message on MicroSoft Network constitutes an agreement to terms.

Works fine for me. Maybe the applet on the left that plays a video is causing your problem. My install is a self-installed Moz 1.0rc2 on SuSE 7.3, with the Java 1.4.0 plugin. -- Rachel
I've got the same setup as Rachel and mine is OK with that site too.

It works here with Sun Java 1.3.1-47 that comes with SuSE 7.3, so I don't think the version of Java is the problem... -- You're never too old to become younger. -- Mae West

SuSE's version of 1.0RC2 works fine here on that site, though I have an occasional freeze-up. (Less than RC1 though.) The freezes I've had seem to happen with pages that use flash when I'm using something else that uses the sound card; I'm not sure if that's the problem but that's my theory. -- "The chain which can be yanked is not the eternal chain." -- G. Fred, you should give mutt a whirl. It is a TRUE mail client, not a transfer agent or filter, and most definitely not a one program do everything. It supports gpg and pgp and there are several spell checkers you can use with YOUR OWN editor. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org
