Probably something for the SuSE folks on the list. Does the new (improved) install process allow you to a) Save the selected packages list to floppy for use later. I know there is a save to floppy deal now but unless I totally missed something it's just saving the basic settings and maybe the HD setup, nothing about the packages. Nothing I hate worse than picking through a ton of packages getting just what I want and then something happens (power outage, bad CD, etc) and I have to start all over again. b) Ability to show what additional packages will be installed if you select a package for installation. I finally figured out that if you deselect a package that has been "auto" selected that it will tell you, "Hey package foo depends on this, are you sure?" What I really want to know is if I pick random package y is it going to go through and auto select stuff (like X or KDE) that I really don't want to install. And, if I'm just clueless and this feature already exists, someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks Michael

c) when I want to upgrade fr ex. from 7.2 or 7.3 I would like to keep all my configuration untouched without going throug everything and change all of the config filenames from rpmsave to the real name -- Pozdrawiam/Regards Piotr GG 1957588 ICQ 148575640
