Does anyone have a quick and dirty solution to fixing Grub. I have a dual boot (win2k/suse) and grub won't load correctly. I thought about swapping in Lilo but I would rather just fix what's there. Any thoughts? CB

Grub has a built-in install capability. See www.linux-sxs.org for information about grub... or look at the man pages.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. p.s. I'm assuming the <alt-2> above is <alt-F2>. <alt-2> doesn't seem to do anything on my machine. If not please let me know what I am doing wrong. -- D.C.

One more question. I am using KDE 3.1 and I did not see a "Look&Feel". There is however an "Appearance & Themes". Is this the same thinkg. If so the only screen saver option that I see (that might be equivlent to above) is to uncheck the "Start screen saver automatically" button. Will this suffice. <snip> Any info/assistance is appreciated. -- D.C.

Labeling must have changed, I still have KDE 3.05. That would be the same entry. -- Patrick Shanahan Please avoid TOFU and trim >quotes< http://wahoo.no-ip.org Registered Linux User #207535 icq#173753138 @ http://counter.li.org
