Can I use Yast to change my default gateway? I can't see an option for it. Using Yast1 on SuSE-6.4.

I might not contribute much to this topic since I'm using Suse 6.0 but there you can set the gatway like Andy said: From the menu where you can activate your network devices I select the one I wish to change, then press 'return' or F6 and I get a sub-menu with the options for IP-Adress, Gateway and Netmask. Oh yeah! Where it says "F6=IP address", that means "Press F6 to change, amongst other things, the gateway". Thanks SuSE!
