[opensuse] kde4 factory - broken dependencies for kde4-printer-applet-4.4.3-127.1.x86_64
Listmates, It looks like there is a dependency problem with the kde4-printer-applet rpm in the 11.0 kde4 factory repository. The latest rpm will not install due to nothing providing system-config-printer. Huh? The yast conflict.txt is: #### YaST2 conflicts list - generated 2010-05-19 23:28:54 #### nothing provides system-config-printer needed by kde4-printer-applet-4.4.3-127.1.x86_64 [x] do not install kde4-printer-applet-4.4.3-127.1.x86_64 This applies to both i586 and x86_64. Functionality provided by system-config-printer is needed for the applet to work. So if it's not in 11.0, I can't work anyway. -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Lubus, That's not right. I have kde4-printer-applet-4.4.3-125.1 installed right now. 03:20 alchemy:~> rpm -q kde4-printer-applet kde4-printer-applet-4.4.3-125.1 It's yesterdays rebuild that broke something for kde4-printer-applet-4.4.3-127.1. The minor version change should not break the dependencies of the package? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
