You are more than right. Stupid not to mention version and distro. It is SuSe 8.0. No 8.1 for me untill I have everything working under 8.0. Could be 8.2 by then ;-) Found /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia and changed it from kernel to external and inserted i82365. It works now. Sorry for the oversight -- ! Not on your life !
