Hello suse-linux-e, Why is Module must compiled with sama kernel version ? Example module cmpci.o compiled in kernel 2.2.10 can't work on kernel 2.2.12 It can't work also when module in 2.2.12 run in 2.2.10 ..!! That is the way things are. However, If you recompile your kernel, there is an option in the modules section of the configuration that supposedly allows you to run modules regardles of what version of the kernel they belong to.
