Trying to install KDE2 rpms on SuSE 6.4 and getting a failed dependency error: failed dependencies: libXm.so.1 is needed by kbase2-2.0.0-0 I've got libXm.so.2 installed on my machine. It's also complaining about qtdevel2 conflicts with qtcompat-1.45-24 qtdevel2 conflicts with qtdevel-1.45-24 qtext2 conflicts with qtext-1.45-24 Any suggestions ? Is it OK to just turn off dependency checking ? It used to works like this if you want to use kde2betas then install qt2 if you are using kde1.x then install qt 1.x yes they will conflict, meaning if you try to update some kde prgrams when it compiles this could lead to it not happening. I think it now is alright to install just qt2 and it takes care of both, I am not 100% maybe some one else can clarify. At 07:24 am Friday 27 10 2000, you wrote:
