[opensuse] WTF? Beagle Installed despite my manual removal of beagle during install?
Listmates: On the 11.1 install, I manually deselected beagle beagle-lib and then confirmed they were not to be installed. To my surprise, the dreaded-dog was installed anyway. What gives? I had to shoot the dreaded-dog in the head manually to kill it: sudo rpm -e beagle libbeagle1 kio_beagle kerry kerry-lang kdebase3-beagle && rm -r ~/.beagle && sudo rm -r /var/cache/beagle -- David C. I'd guess a package that has a 'Recommends: beagle' in its .spec file, meaning 'install if present but don't complain if it gets removed' somewhere in the list of packges to install.
