Hello All I have a cable modem at home and Apache install on SuSE 7.3 and running. From Local host or anybody that is using the same ISP like me can access my WebServer but any where else the server does not sent the first page .. is it possible that the ISP is blocking the port 80 so we can not have a webserver at home .... is this is the case is there anything that I can do to go around this problem if I accept connection on port 80 and tranfert to another port will this work ... by the way ssh work from anywhere else from the internet Thanks for any help . ===== ,. \\|// - ? Road-Runner was blocking incoming port 80 until recently as a virus
preventition. They blocked it at the perimeter, so I still saw
connects from rr.com addresses. Sounds like your ISP is doing the
same thing. You may be able to run Apache at another port. Or run a
HTTPS site at port 443, the standard HTTPS port.
