I have tryed a PS2 mouse, and tryed to change it with USB but complete dead. I have tried to config with yast to, but no respons

After updating one system from 9.2 to 10.0 I also lost the mouse. I spent a lot of time trying to fix it. I'm sure there is an answer but since I had the home directories on a separate partition I re-installed from scratch and the mouse worked fine.

Since I still had the 90 day install support, I had them guide me through key strokes(mostly tab,arrow,F2) resulting in being able to run Sax2 and get to the mouse configuration. The mouse is a std PS2.. But by changing the name to the first one listed for PS2(mice?) and configuring, all was OK and was back in business. Sorry can't be more specific.
