Hi all I`m loosing it completely ,sanity that is.It`s the Postfix problem I can`t figure out so ,please all the gurus out there help me. I have single machine running SuSE 7.2 pro with dial up modem connection to my ISP. I need to have my mail collected to the home box in such way that ; depending on "from, subject, etc "need to have mail distributed to different users/folders on the machine.,which I am not able to achieve with Kmail alone or at least don`t know how. I need the example of config files for fetchmail, procmail and postfix to achieve this.Installing Postfix and configuring it via Yast2 I get error mesages with wrong domains specified ,example just for testing I used localhost smpt to send messages to check setup but it returns with "ally@linux.linux.local" unknown domain and I`m at loss to explane why is the local domain linux.local being rewritten to "linux.linux.local" every time I sent mail internally. SO please can anyone explain in plain english what to write in to config file for Postfix,Procmail.etc.Just to explain how hopeless it is for me I have no idea how to set this up at all. Regards Alan

Having said that you have not given enough information to receive an answer. Postfix normally needs very little tweaking once installed if you send me the output of "postconf -n" I may be able to give you a pointer.
