Reinstallation of package ppp from series n. </QUOTE> If I reinstall the package ppp, I will loose my Dial Back support... ...*shakes head* I have followed the instructions, when I install the default I loose Dial Back. This would surely only apply if you use SuSE's packages, not when you compile yourself.
It states: <QUOTE> Deinstallation of package ppp_ssl from series sec. Reinstallation of package ppp from series n. </QUOTE>
If I reinstall the package ppp, I will loose my Dial Back support... ...*shakes head*
Hm. How do you know you have any callback support you didn't have before? The passwordfd module is loaded as the first thing, and as I understand it you don't get much further than that? In any case, exactly how did you recompile? Did you apply SuSE's patches? Specifically, ppp-2.3.11-pwfd.dif has the plugin with the chap_passwd_hook support. //Anders
