hi Using 10.1 here. The screensaver in KDE has lots and lots of modes while the Gnome one has very few. How can I add the modes from KDE screensaver to Gnome screensaver? Are they the same porgram but diff config files? -H

No, I believe they use different programs. In theory, gnome-screensaver can use xscreensaver hacks, but that function appears not to be working. This is Novell bug #116331 - it was fixed but if it's reared its ugly head again, could you please reopen the bug with your comments? -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/imin
