KDE 3.2 post-install problems
I've managed to install KDE 3.2. It's working, but with a few problems: 1. The panel doesn't show the desktops, as it did in KDE 3.1. I can't find anyplace to configure that. 2. I've lost the icon for Yast2 and can't find it again. 3. The opening banner still indicated KDE 3.1, not KDE 3.2. 4. The fonts are generally harder to read, perhaps because of some antialiasing issue. Can anyone help with any of these? Paul Abrahams

Well, then kde 3.2 isn't installed. I know that some deps are letting some 3.2 pkgs get installed via apt but it refuses to install the 3.2 libs and base pkgs. But I can fix that once I get the rest downloaded. I'd check to see what's actually installed. -Ben -- Linux User #147972 ---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org -- "There is no need to teach that stars can fall out of the sky and land on a flat Earth in order to defend religious faith."
