alternative to gaim (dont want to use gtk+)
Has anybody tried any alternative to gaim (to use msn messenger only) that doesnt work on top of gtk+, cause I need a messenger clone for workstations that have kde1(SuSE 7.1)... installing gtk would be to much trouble, plus there is the stability issue as well. Thanks alot, Raul
You should use Kinkatta. It's a native QT/KDE2 program for AIM. The developer is a hell of a nice guy and the software rocks. He does all his development under SuSE so it is very SuSE compliant :) I've been using it for sometime and I love it. I would also ditch KDE 1.X .. 2.2.2 is very speedy and extremely nice. * Raúl Gutiérrez Segalés (oxford@campoalto.edu.py) [011205 10:06]: -> ->Has anybody tried any alternative to gaim (to use msn messenger only) that ->doesnt work on top of gtk+, cause I need a messenger clone for workstations ->that have kde1(SuSE 7.1)... installing gtk would be to much trouble, plus ->there is the stability issue as well. -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal" -AE
