Postscript file refuses to print on A4.
I have a problem printing a postscript file on A4 paper. It insists on used an American format, which is specified in the code itself. The file is the one in /usr/doc/packages/lclint/supplement.ps.gz (Part of SuSE 6.4, and probably in most other versions as it is a paper published in 1995.) I tried Ghostview and Kview, and specified A4 format in these applications, but to no avail. Editing the file manually to use A4 instead of an American format didn't work: this resulted in a file of 1.5GB, using all available disk space! Any ideas? Evert

Try pstops. I use it quite regularly for applications like yours. The pagespecs is a bit tricky but with a couple of tries you should be able to work it out. Best regards, Alex.
